Tracking, Mixing, Pre-Mastering
Although our audio production services are mainly intended to support our other in-house ventures, we do make our resources available to third parties. So whether you’re working on a scratch demo track or a full-fledged audio project in Peoria, IL, One Hat has the resources you need to get your audio production done right and on-time.
Tracking
We track at up to 24bit/96KHz directly to hard disk. We can record your group live or provide access to our varied assortment of virtual instruments.

Mixing
We use MOTU Digital Performer 6 to mix our projects “in the box.” We have an assortment of high-quality plugins to shape the sound of your tracks, including URS Saturation, URS Console Strip Pro, iZotope Ozone 4, iZotope RX, the MasterWorks Leveler, and ProVerb.
Pre-Mastering
We say “pre-mastering” because we are not a dedicated mastering house. We provide good mixes that may then be sent to a dedicated mastering facility to have the “finishing touches” put on.
For projects that do not require true audio mastering, we can provide similar services, such as mutli-band dynamics compression, leveling, EQ, stereo imaging, and more.
