Stage Lighting Features & Equipment
One Hat Design Studio has all the equipment you need to make your show successful. Our inventory includes the following types of equipment:
Computer-Controlled System
We use the Jands Vista M1 system to control all our lighting. This means that we can program the lights to do complicated movements and scene changes with a single press of a button. We can program the lights to be perfectly in time with your music, tracking the musical hits and changing moods, or we can run the show “live” when time is short.
Intelligent Moving Lights
We currently have eight moving lights: four moving heads, and four moving mirrors. Each of these lights has multiple colors, multiple gobos (beam patterns), and together they create a high-impact light show.
Color-Changing Wash Lights
We have 18 LED wash lights that are video-safe (flicker-free) and can create millions of colors for your show. They are very bright and can be used in multiple configurations: shining on a wall or curtain or set-piece, shining on the performance area from above, or pointed toward one of our photographic backdrops from below.
We also have six color scrollers which have 16 colors each. When mounted on a Source Four Par™ can, they create a bright wash of light that can be placed in just about any location.
Conventional Lights
We have pars and ellipsoidals available for situations where the venue’s house lighting is inadequate.
Hazer
Our hazer will fill the air with microscopic water-based particles, allowing the audience to see the bright colors and beams from our lights right in the air. This computer-controlled hazer can fill a large room very quickly with everything from a light haze to a thick fog.
Ground Support System (Truss)
We have two truss systems for use. The first system is 40' long, made up of 2" box truss. This system can be raised up to 18' in the air with provided crank-up stands, and can hold up to 1100 lbs of weight.
The second system is 24' long, made up of 1.25" triangle truss. It can be raised up to 13.2' in the air with provided crank-up stands, and can hold up to 400 lbs of weight.
Each of these truss systems can also be used in the vertical position to support banners, moving lights, or just used to make the set look cool!
Power Distribution
Our 120A, 3Ø power distribution box will provide more than enough power for your show. Plug our camlok or bare-ended tails into your venue’s electrical box (company switch) or generator and you’ll have access to 18 edison outlets, each representing a separate 20A circuit. This power distro box can also be quickly converted for use with 1Ø power, as well.
